Planting Trees, Building Schools: Smart Energy Answers Powers Change
Smart Energy Answers (SEA) has been at the forefront of the sustainable energy revolution for over a decade. As part of its commitment to social responsibility, SEA has recently partnered with two charities - Foundation for National Parks & Wildlife (FNPW) and It’s Time Foundation (iiTime) - to give back to the community and the environment. We believe that social responsibility and environmental sustainability go hand in hand, and we are committed to making a positive impact through our business.
As part of our partnership with FNPW, we will plant trees in areas of previous historic bushfires. This initiative will bring the green canopy back to life, providing a nurturing habitat for wildlife, and restoring the balance of the natural environment across Australia.
The Foundation for National Parks & Wildlife is a leading charity dedicated to protecting Australia's unique wildlife and heritage. Through their "Plant a Tree for Me" program, the FNPW has been working to replant forests and restore wildlife habitat that has been lost due to bushfires, drought, and deforestation.
In addition to our partnership with FNPW, we are also proud to announce our new partnership with It's Time Foundation, an organisation committed to delivering renewable power solutions for remote Pacific Island schools, transforming education outcomes and reducing carbon emissions.
Many island schools in the Pacific struggle with no electricity supply, or rely on dirty diesel generators they can barely afford to run for a couple of hours per day. The kids have little or no chance of a modern education. The It's Time Foundation, with the generous support of its partners, provides clean, free electricity for lighting and computers, and transforms the education and prospects for these kids. While the schools are not major emitters on a world scale, the projects are helping these communities take diesel generators offline and drastically reduce their carbon footprint.
With these new partnerships, SEA is taking its commitment to social responsibility to the next level. For every new system installed from February 2023, SEA will donate a portion of the profits to either Foundation for National Parks & Wildlife or It’s Time Foundation, depending on the customer's choice.
This is just the latest step in SEA's vision for an Australia with 100% solar adoption. With a team of experts and a commitment to innovation, SEA has been working towards this goal for over a decade. Through its dedication to customer service and its use of cutting-edge technology, SEA has become a trusted leader in the sustainable energy sector.
Looking to the future, SEA's commitment to social responsibility and sustainability is stronger than ever. With new partnerships and initiatives in the works, SEA is poised to continue making a positive impact on the environment and the community.
