Short answer
SEA always assesses your property before installing solar, but it isn’t always an onsite visit. We check your roof and where the equipment will go, shading, your switchboard and access. Depending on the job, this may be done with photos you send us or with an inspection at your property.
What we look at:
- your roof and where the panels will go
- shading from trees or nearby buildings
- where the inverter and battery can go
- your switchboard, and whether it needs any work
- access for our installers.
Your consultant will let you know which photos we need, or arrange a visit if one is required. Only take photos you can get safely from the ground, and please don’t climb onto your roof.
