Short answer
Yes, in NSW and Victoria. As at November 2026, NSW offers grants for shared solar on strata buildings (applications close 4 December 2026) and an incentive for batteries in apartment buildings. Victoria’s Solar for Apartments program offers rebates of up to $2,800 per apartment. The NSW solar grants and the Victorian program are applied for by the owners corporation, not individual residents.
