The 5-year Whole-of-System Warranty is extra protection Smart Energy Answers gives every solar and battery system we install. For the first five years, if a product we supplied or our workmanship develops a fault, or output falls more than 10% below the performance estimate, we’ll rectify it at no cost to you, including onsite labour.
It is in addition to our 10-year workmanship guarantee, your manufacturer warranties and your rights under Australian Consumer Law.
What’s included
- the costs of repairing or replacing covered components
- the onsite labour to do the work
- a remedy if your system doesn’t meet a consumer guarantee, a manufacturer’s warranty or its performance estimate.
When it starts: from your installation date, once we’ve received full payment and ownership of the system has passed to you.
Conditions: some things aren’t covered, such as weather damage, grid faults, items that are only visual and don’t affect performance, and faults caused by repairs or changes made by someone other than SEA. See What isn’t covered by SEA’s warranties?
