Short answer
How long a solar installation takes depends on your project. The size and type of system, your property, equipment availability and your electricity network’s approval requirements all affect timing, so we don’t quote one fixed timeframe. Your Project Coordinator schedules your installation and keeps you updated along the way.
The main things that affect timing:
- Network approvals. Your electricity network needs to approve the connection before the system is connected to the grid. See What approvals are needed to connect solar to the grid?
- Design and equipment. The components in your system, including any battery or EV charger, and getting them to site.
- Your property. Roof type, access and any switchboard upgrades.
- Meter changes. A meter change or network activation may still be outstanding after the installation is finished.
