Short answer
During the first five years, faults covered by SEA’s Whole-of-System Warranty are repaired at no cost to you, including onsite labour. After that, what’s covered depends on our workmanship guarantee and the manufacturer’s warranty terms. If a repair isn’t covered, such as storm damage, we’ll explain why and quote the cost before doing any work.
Common reasons a repair might be chargeable:
- damage from weather, power surges or other events outside our reasonable control
- failure of your existing electrical installation, wiring or meter box
- problems caused by repairs or changes someone else has made to the system
- faults in parts SEA didn’t supply and install.
Where work isn’t covered, we explain it and give you a quote before we go ahead. See What isn’t covered by SEA’s warranties?
